Have you ever been afraid? Felt the creeping sensation of being watched or hunted crawling up the back of your neck? Watched great heights swim beneath your feet? Felt your heart race at the inky depth of the ocean below you? Aarus is everything unseen and unknown. Aarus commonly takes the form of creatures in the backrooms, and is responsible for their existence. She delights in the darkness, from the depths of the oceans to the bowls of ancient structures. She is the whisper of fear in the dark. She works alongside Chaos to create supernatural creatures but dabbles in the more disturbing of them. She also has several Eldritch Horror forms, which she created with Eheia's assistance. It is said she loves for her creations to be known, which is why she blesses creatures with the ability to see in the dark (although this varies widely). Eheia and Aarus created the Void of the Prime Nexus together. Aarus' Etzal heritage has little influence on her Godhood other than in forms of worship. She loves to be worshiped in songs, stories and handcrafted items. Lanterns and light fixtures with unique designs are her favourites.

Aarus loves to present herself in Eldritch forms in the corners of people's eyes and in their dreams. She also loves to fuck with people who stumble into the backrooms unknowingly. She doesn't really seem to have people that worship her directly but enjoys posing as eldritch horrors for doomsday cults as it entertains her... Most of these cults don't last due to the members dying or going insane. They make their own rules upon which to worship her. Who is she to deny them if they wish to make sacrifices?
